Teen Parenting Support
At Elliott Alternative Education Center, we’re committed to helping teen parents succeed in both their education and parenting journey. Our on-site childcare program provides a safe, nurturing environment where your child is cared for by experienced staff. We offer developmentally appropriate, engaging activities to support your child’s growth and well-being so you can focus on your education with peace of mind.
By joining the Elliott Teen Parent Program, you’ll receive:
- Free childcare during school hours
- Access to valuable resources tailored to support teen parents
- A caring, supportive environment for both you and your child
Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Childcare services are located on-site at Elliott and available during regular school hours. To learn more, take a tour, or meet our staff, please contact Graciela Godinez at (209) 492-6706.
Additional Support Through the Cal-SAFE Program
Modesto City Schools also participates in the California School Age Families Education (Cal-SAFE) Program, a state-supported initiative designed to help pregnant and parenting teens stay in school and graduate.
Through Cal-SAFE, eligible teen parents receive:
- Free on-site childcare for infants and toddlers
- Comprehensive support services that address both academic and personal needs
- Child development and health services for their children
The program aims to promote school success, improve parenting skills, and enhance the school readiness of young children. By providing a strong foundation, Cal-SAFE helps young families build a brighter future starting in high school.
