School Statement of Philosophy
School programs are designed to serve
all students so that regardless of background,
interest, or ability, each student, given the
appropriate support, will be well prepared for
future academic and career endeavors.
Our mission is to ensure that
students are prepared academically, physically,
socially, and emotionally to function as
productive members of their society.
Expected School-wide Learning Results (ESLRs)
High School has revised
its Expected School-wide Learning Results
(ESLRs) from five as stated in the 2000-01 WASC
document to three for this document:
- Identify, gather,
analyze and apply/use multiple resources and
- Analyze, interpret and
evaluate significant concepts within various
- Develop solutions to
- Develop and apply
multiple effective learning strategies to
- Establish and achieve
effective goals for personal priorities and
- Organize and express
important verbal and written messages.
- Receive and interpret
the messages of others effectively.
- Use a variety of
