MATH & ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS STATE TESTING INCENTIVES
EAP – Early Assessment Program
SBAC/CAASPP is used to determine your EAP Early Assessment Program Achievement Level for all California State Campuses, Modesto Junior College and other participating community colleges in California. Your score indicates your readiness to take college-level English and mathematics courses when you begin college.
If you score high enough, you will not have to take CSU and/or MJC placement tests. This does not affect your admission to the CSU or to community colleges, it is used for placement only! The higher you score on the SBAC/CAASPP, the better your chance to place directly into college level courses in college. Otherwise, you will have to take remedial courses that cost you time and money! Learn more at www.csusuccess.org!
