Students may be referred to
the administration for
inappropriate dress using
the Beyer High School
student referral form.
A. STUDENT CONDUCT CODES,
K-6 AND 7-12:
Students shall dress
appropriately for
educational activities in
which they will participated
so as not to endanger their
health, safety, or welfare,
or that of others, or cause
a disruption to the
educational process. Clothes
shall be sufficient to
conceal undergarments when
sitting or standing, or
bending. The following
articles of clothing are not
permitted:

Shorts, Skirts, pants,
and tops that fail to
conceal undergarments,
back, abdomen, and
cleavage.
-
Back-less or strap-less
tops.
-
Low cut tops and
dresses.
-
Bare- midriff tops.
-
Chains of any sort,
wallet or utility-type
chains.
-
See-thru or fishnet
fabrics that fail to
conceal undergarments.
All attire must fit
appropriately and must not
be too small or too large.
Skirts shorter than
mid-thigh are prohibited.
• Any
attire/paraphernalia/symbol
that signifies gang
affiliation will not be
allowed on campus.
• Any
attire/paraphernalia/symbol
that displays a logo or
other message promoting
alcohol or controlled
substances, promoting
violence, illegal activity,
or relating to gangs may not
be worn on campus.
Student may not wear or
possess hats, caps, or other
headgear during school hours
at school sites except as
specifically authorized by a
school official for such
activities and theatrical
performances or other
approved personal reasons
such as health needs. During
inclement weather, 7-12,
students may wear
school-specific knit caps
outdoors. (NO BILL CAPS)
C. PROHIBITED
SITE SPECIFIC APPAREL (Approved by the
School Safety Committee):
-
No solid red / blue
homemade or store bought
rosaries.
-
No extra long t-shirts
extending past
mid-thigh.
-
No more than two red or
blue articles of
clothing, including
accessories (unless
combined with school
colors of red, white,
and blue promoting
school spirit)
-
No red or blue
shoelaces.
-
No STARS and STRAPS
apparel
-
No NorCal, SoCal, South
Pole or North Pole
Apparel (in any
combination of red or
blue)
D. D. CONSEQUESCES ARE:
1ST
Offense
Warning to student.
Notification of parent.
Student may be sent home to
dress properly, if
necessary.
2nd
Offense
Detention, Saturday School,
or other alternative home
suspension.
3rd
Offense
1-Day In-School suspension. |
